So, I went to Italy. . .

Standard

Rome, to be specific, and it was pretty awesome. No, I’m not catholic and no I didn’t go see the pope. But I did see ruins and old buildings that are more ancient than well… dirt. And some pretty cool scenery, an ice bar, some people from Paris tripping off molly. Got a sore throat I’m still recovering from, learned some even more ridiculous ways Ryanair may rip you off and crossed another country off of my bucket list.

But most importantly got to see my brother who I haven’t seen since February!

My trip went well, at least I think so…

I went to London on the Weekend of the 14th of March…

This is how it went:

As you probably have noticed by now I am studying abroad in Mannheim, Germany for this semester. My only regret? Not deciding to stay longer, but it has given me hope into furthering my education in Europe (where I won’t have to sell a kidney to do so). Anyway, because I am an economics student and the work here is unbelievably intense at times I haven’t had much free time so the minute I got the chance to I went somewhere. I chose London as my first stop on my European adventure, and even though circumstances had it that I went I alone. I wouldn’t have it any other way it was wonderful! I saw so many things met some really amazing people and stayed in a world class hostel. seriously I’ve heard horror stories about hostels, but look at this place!

-> Honestly I took hundreds of photos here are a few of them though. You can check out my Facebook for the rest !

I’m moving to Germany…

Standard

Only for a few months though. You can breath!

I will be studying abroad (something I was dead set on not doing since I was sure it’d cost too much) in a city about an hour south of Frankfurt, Germany called Mannheim. I’ll be attending the University of Mannheim, apparently this school is the number one business & Economics school in Germany (pretty cool yeah?). I’m looking forward to all of the travelling I intend to do and I will post as many pictures as I can while I am there.

I’m really nervous because I speak no German, I understand little words here or there but it still will be very nerve wracking to live in a place where I won’t know a single thing they’re saying. I’m up for the challenge though. So far I know the basics. Which doesn’t even begin to touch what I should probably know. But, I’m ready to jump right in ! … I think (hah!)
